Child sexual abuse is a community problem. To be intentional about protecting children, adults need to come together and boldly confront the issue. The Children’s Advocacy Center/Hope House has become the lead organization for prevention efforts in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes and is pleased to offer Prevent Now and Stewards of Children to community members interested in protecting our most valuable and vulnerable citizens – our children. Both programs drive home the point that abuse can be stopped in real-time!

Prevent Now makes prevention a priority in the community and fosters a safer environment for children. The program includes:

It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors. Research findings from independent evaluators are available on www.D2L.org.
